PRINCE2 has become an indispensable tool for every professional project manager. PRINCE2 is a method that promotes transparency and a structured course of your project and thereby increases the chance of the project succeeding. Moreover, the internationally recognized PRINCE2 certificates are often a precondition for eligibility for project management assignments.


PRINCE2 can support you in successfully preparing, executing and closing your projects. In the PRINCE2 project management methodology you will find ‘best practices’ with regard to the documents to be used or reports and plans, an effective division of roles within the project, structured process steps, smart techniques and all kinds of instruments.


A misunderstanding is that PRINCE2 would only be suitable for ICT projects. PRINCE2 is suitable for project management in all kinds of projects. PRINCE2 is also suitable for small and large projects, for government projects and commercial projects.


PRINCE2 is based on seven principles. They are the yardstick by which a project can be laid to determine whether a project is managed according to the PRINCE2 method or not. During the course PRINCE2 Foundation (English via e-learning) you will learn more about these principles.


The seven principles of the PRINCE2 method are:

• ongoing business justification;
• learning from experiences;
• defined roles and responsibilities;
• management per phase;
• manage by exception;
• product-oriented planning;
• adapt to the project environment.

The course concerns self-study. You can decide what, where, when and how quickly you want to learn. This form of learning is particularly suitable for people who want to learn at their own pace only what they need. This of course requires some self-discipline.


The course contains the full PRINCE2 compact e-book, many videos and exercises to optimally ensure that you master the course material. The tutorial also contains the popular ExamTrainer, with which you can practice extensively with questions as you can expect on your exam. The self-study also keeps track of your study results, so that you can determine what you still need to do before the exam based on these results.

Personal coaching

Doelgroep

Whether you are a project employee, project manager or (upcoming) project manager, the PRINCE2 Foundation course - via e-learning is intended for anyone who wants to study the PRINCE2 method or project management. Specific experience as a project manager is not necessary. It is nice if you have basic knowledge in the field of project work.

Voorkennis

You do not need any specific prior education to follow this course. However, an HBO working and thinking level is expected.

Duur

Because it concerns self-study, you determine the course duration yourself. You have six months to complete the course. Do you want longer access to your self-study? You can easily book two months extra time. The costs for the extra time amount € 105.00.

Groepsgrootte

De maximale groepsgrootte bedraagt acht personen.

Certificaat

After the course, you can participate in the PRINCE2 Foundation exam. The exam costs are included in the price.
